The Role

Make things happen. Keep the business moving.

We are seeking a resourceful and dependable Business Operations Executive who enjoys taking ownership, solving practical problems and getting things completed.

You will play a central role in coordinating important operational activities across recruitment, employee onboarding, office administration, vendor management, technology setup, banking coordination, account-opening operations, client events and other business priorities.

On one day, you may be coordinating job postings and scheduling interviews. On another, you may be arranging laptops and workstations, visiting a bank, coordinating account-opening documentation, negotiating with a vendor or helping organise a client event.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. It is not a desk-only position or a traditional Executive Assistant role. The common thread is simple: take responsibility and make sure the work gets done properly.

Your Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • 01

    Keep Priorities Moving

Track important tasks, deadlines, commitments and follow-ups. Coordinate with the relevant people and ensure that work reaches completion.

  • 02

    Coordinate Recruitment and Onboarding

Manage job-portal activity, publish approved vacancies, organise applications, schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication. Support joining formalities, employee documentation, onboarding schedules, email accounts, laptops and access to essential business tools.

  • 03

    Run Day-to-Day Office Operations

Coordinate workstations, laptops, office equipment, pantry requirements, supplies, maintenance and other practical needs required to keep the office functioning smoothly.

  • 04

    Coordinate Vendors and Purchases

Identify vendors, obtain quotations, compare options, negotiate where appropriate and follow through on approved purchases and services.

  • 05

    Handle Banking and Account-Opening Coordination

Complete authorised banking visits and documentation follow-ups. Coordinate KYC, demat and other account-opening processes under approved internal and regulatory procedures.

  • 06

    Support Events and Business Projects

Help organise client meetings, seminars, brand events and employee activities—including venues, vendors, guest lists, materials, logistics and follow-ups. Support technology implementations, process improvements and other special projects as priorities evolve.

  • 07

    Maintain Records and Operating Discipline

Keep employee, vendor, asset, purchase and project records organised. Maintain simple trackers and checklists that make responsibilities, deadlines and next steps visible.

Candidate Profile

What You Will Bring

  • 5–8 Years of Professional Experience: Experience in business operations, administration, recruitment coordination, office management, executive support or a similar hands-on role.
  • Ownership Mindset: You take responsibility, follow through and do not wait to be reminded repeatedly.
  • Practical Working Style: You are equally comfortable maintaining a tracker, coordinating an interview, purchasing office equipment or visiting a bank or vendor to complete a task.
  • Organisation and Follow-Through: You can manage several priorities without losing track of deadlines, documents or commitments.
  • Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory. Marathi will be an advantage.
  • Technology Comfort: Confident using email, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, job portals and online business tools. Willing to learn new systems quickly.
  • Communication and Judgement: Able to communicate professionally with candidates, employees, clients, bankers and vendors while handling confidential information responsibly.
  • Local Mobility: This role requires regular travel within Mumbai for banking, procurement, vendor and operational work. A valid driving licence and access to a two-wheeler will be a distinct advantage.
